I drew this of my dog because I've never tried to draw her (always failed) until now and I would like to before I leave to university. It was really easy because my reference model (laika), was just across the room all the time.I'll miss Laika so much while I'm away....I hope she doesn't forget me when I visit her each year.

Some dogs (animals) never forget people. Its a comforting thought to me for some reason ^^
The stories you can find of people severing overseas and coming home or to the animals or sever and coming home to the people who offered them up for service and them still remembering is just wonderful.

Thanks, I hope you're right. But I remember the time my sister went to boarding school for 6 months, when she came back she likes to complain how Laika doesn't love her "as much". But I'll be sure to buy her so much toys while I'm out and walk her lots when I visit.

in that case I would have to question was it the dog that changed or your sister o.0? just a thought to put out there.
My dogs all like their toys but they would all rather a pet and word spoken to them <3

Well, my sister's opinion of doggy love is when her and the dog are home alone, the dog is quiet and doesn't complain. But, apparently whenever I'm out, the dog loves to howl and whine to my sister. That doesn't happen when I'm around, or if I'm home alone with the dog.
Maybe she loves me more because I walk her. Yeah, there is nothing more my dog loves than a pet and a walk. When I'm gone nobody would walk her (unless they learn), I sure hope laika doesn't get fat while I'm away!
