Superman is always godlike, and frankly overpowered, which is why I like to see him taken down a peg, by Batman, a human no less. Humanity is Batman's true superpower.

Y'know what bugs me? Everyone remembers that Batman won, but nobody remembers that it's mostly because of the ridiculously-convenient nuke Superman had been hit with earlier in the story.

Here's the thing, Batman didn't win. It was more of an "absence of loss" situation, because by the time Bruce's heart attack hit, Superman was getting back up.

Which only worked because he was weak from the nuke. At full power, he would have heard Ollie easily and heat-visioned his bow in half.

As much as I despise this comic (For the horrible writing of Superman on Miller's part mostly) this is very well done. Good on you for doing justice to the original art from the comic itself. (Note I'm a huge Superman fan, Bats is cool too but he's WAY too overrated these days... people should actually read the comics before they make statements)
I also hope that none of you take what I said personally, it is and always will be my opinion and I won't try to change yours.

Many people make the mistake of assuming
that because of Superman's many powers
and, Batman just being a mortal human , that Superman would beat Batman easily.
But, Batman IS the (censored) BATMAN.
he's beaten enemies by out thinking them and utilizing advanced technology.
Case in point: Batman's 'power suit' here
was specifically designed to combat Superman
similair to Iron Man's 'Thorbuster' suit built to combat the God of Thunder.

Randy, the sheer amount of movement alone youve created in this piece is just mind-blowing.. And then the detail itself (specifically, for me, in BM's mouth open with the exertion of the fight).. Just a brilliant, brilliant job man.
