Description "Worlds Without Frontiers"

I finished up the colors on the Lost Fantasy Poster. L to R: Misa, Chikan, and Rail stand on an ancient monument to warriors long forgotten and look upon the world before them as the sun sets. Originally a series of 4 sketches scanned in, combined, inked, and colored in photoshop. I might end up playing around with the color values a little bit, and may add a logo in there later, as i'm hoping to fix it up so that it makes a good product to actually put on a poster.

4 sketches of work combined? O.o!

Oooh, he'd better be careful with that cracking finger.

Yeah, you should try it sometime. It makes for great group shots and stuff. My problem has always been that i'm too used to drawing on 11x17 comic boards, so trying to fit too much information into a 9x12 sketchbook sheet is kinda hard. >.>

Haha, you can only get better if you try. Seriously, it's really simple. Do a little doodle about how you want it to work together, draw it up, then scan it in seperate layers, erasing/adding what is needed to make it all combine properly.

Sure. All my black and white linearts are openly available for people to CG as long as they remember to credit me as the original artist of the linework. I've had some trouble with the Metroid pic and people thinking i've swiped it from someone because they didn't properly credit me. :\

Ah, feel free to do what you want, as long as you just remember to credit the line artist in your comments and/or signature. I probably won't be around to see it colored for a long long time. ><;

insanely detailed i say. Very great piece of work :3 I like all their varying facial expressions and colors... sorta gives them a personality all their own without ever having to read about them. The background as statue are what really catch my attention tho..you did a splendid job shading the statue and mountain to where theyd look stylistically real. see..no critique..i was good :3
Great work here tho, much respect to you on this :3

Cool composition & cartooning. I really like how the character is mimicking the statue. That adds an interesting touch.

Great detail in the background. The only other comment I could make is use a smaller image size next time.
