Just when I think I'm getting tired of doing sketch cards, I do this one card and it completely reinvigorates my love of the medium. Funny how things work out that way...

You're one of the first sketch card artists who caught my eye. Just when I was thinking of commissioning you for a piece, already looking for reference pictures of fave Joker scenes I could send your way, you posted this card and I fell in love with it.
Love the perfectly captured resemblance and gorgeous deep colors and details overall, especially the white spots and flecks, and the collar of the shirt and the wrinkles on his forehead.
It's one of my fave Joker sketch cards I've ever seen! Thank you!

Thanks, it's more so that I'm getting tired of the size restrictions. Also, I have really bad eyesight to begin with, and it has gotten even worse since I've started doing sketch cards. I'm actually going to start doing more 5"x7" sketch cards in the future because of this.

Oh I see... I feel the same way about the size restrictions. I have to do bigger pieces on a regular basis to keep myself sane. I always end up pulling out those cards again though!

Yeah, I was also thinking I'll probably be doing less official sets, and concentrate on doing my own thing for a while. I will definitely keep doing sketch cards as long as people are still interested in buying them from me!

I agree and I'm sure Trev would too.... Joker has so much going on in that face (hair, clothes) of his, it can re-awaken something that dies from doing the usual tanned skin characters one after the other, after the other, after the other. 3 cheers for Joker! And 3 cheers for Randy!
