WHAT’S FOR LUNCH?:Takahashi’s “Secret Script” Noodles
Noodle cup garnished with braised brahmin meat, cave fungus, sliced hard-boiled radscorpion egg, and crumbled carrot flowers.
Palate - Greasy. Savory. Earthy. Floral hints.
Headcanon time!
- Takahashi has a “secret script” Noodle Cup he gives customers who speak a specific phrase to him. This is a well-guarded secret and is only known to a select few traders who come through town. Most people regard it as a myth.
- In the Wiki and the in-game picture a Radscorpion egg looks similar to a Deathclaw egg. A quick Google search revealed that normal scorpions don’t actually lay eggs, the female keeps the fertilized egg in her until the baby is ready to emerge. I split the difference a little and came up with this gelatinous embryo with undeveloped eyes floating in one of the slices.
Hardest part of this drawing: trying to make the beef look like actual beef.
Fun part of this drawing: noodles. Holy cow I love squiggles!!!
