~TeKNoMaNiaCH is correct!
Do not assume that just because you see a pair of hyperbolic cooling towers [link] that the plant itself is toxic
Hyperbolic towers are... as you can read in this article [link]
"this type of cooling tower operates without fans, the substantial amount of electric power otherwise required for large cooling tower systems is not needed. The required cooling air is conveyed through the tower by natural draft thus neither fan nor fan power is required.
Now, you may be correct that this plant is not operating correctly, and may indeed be toxic, but do not blame the "toxicity" simply on the presence of cooling towers of the same type that are used at nuclear facilities

The big chimneys (actually they aren't chimney, just coolers) aren't totally toxic. Only harmful chimneys are those tall ones but still they aren't toxic since there are filters..

They are toxic and do not believe that filters are effective, at least in Romania

If you say so, that is toxic.. But I don't understand how difficult it is to just maintain the filter and keep the environment safe and without CO2.. Hope to world will find a solution soon for general energy production in environment friendly way of course.
