The grandson of the President and CEO of Masterson shipping, Alexander Masterson, Cain is considered a prodigy in many circles. His high grades allowed him early acceptance to one of the four Huntsmen academies. He chose Atlas due to the combat training programs, and because no Faunus currently attended.

Weapons:

Iron Pride – A High Caliber revolver with an elongated barrel and cylinder that allows alternation between pistol and rifle dust ammunition.

Steel Prejudice – A gauntlet with a build in speed loader for Pride on the forearm and a single shot dust cannon under the wrist. Connected to the cannon’s barrel is a collapsible blade that combines with Pride to make a single edge longsword.

Semblance:

Copycat (Semblance Mimicry) – When making physical contact with a person using their semblance within seven seconds of witnessing its use, Cain can learn that semblance and use it himself. He can copy a multitude of semblances, but can only use one at a time. He can only learn semblances that are visible to the naked eye meaning semblances that cannot be seen like illusions based techniques cannot be learned. If the semblance he has copy has multiple abilities, he is only limited to the ability he had witnessed when he first copied it and can only learn the other abilities by watching them be used by the semblance’s original owner.

Cain Masterson is the main character in my upcoming fanfiction called MARN (Maroon). It takes place eight years before the events of RWBY. A story of persecution, honor, and legacy.
