We're getting into "Guess that line" territory. Hopefully you can guess which line of dialogue belongs to their respective expressions.This strip is a little smaller, it's really just the essentials of meeting Morrigan. If you've read my comments from before you'll know that I'm going to be brief with scenes that I don't feel I can add much too. I'm going to skip meeting Flemeth the first time in order to spend more time on the post battle Morrigan/Flemeth scenes, which I find to be much more interesting. However, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to show the beginning of Alistair and Morrigan's antagonistic relationship. It's one of my favorite things in the whole game. XD
Drawing wise I really want to make sure that I establish a very different silhouette for her from Arlana, and much more angular. I want Morrigan to come across as more lithe and Arlana to be more solid, so that their body types match their classes. Trying to remember to actually draw that and not just do generic lady bodies. Easier said than drawn sometimes.

I still want to do a playthrough with a great Morrigan romance. I just did my "huge jerk" play through (where I do all the things I would NEVER do in my normal play through) and it will probably be a while before I come back to Origins again.

If you're a "good Warden" you have to leave her in camp a lot unfortunately to keep up her approval but the contrasting opinions is quite fun and as long as your nice and respectful to her (and get her pretty gifts, she's a magpie lol) in the romance she just turns into an awkward stumbling mess and it's great XD Highly recommend lol, especially if you remain just friends with her till the "'Tis a curious thing" conversation about friendship or initiate it with the mirror gift. Granted it also rips your heart out with her leaving and all so be prepared for that... but if you follow in Witch Hunt it's downright adorable with her talking about the Warden in DA:I

This may be asking too much but. . . would it be possible for you to do tutorials? I thought your art was spectacular up to this point, but then I saw your Morrigan and I think she's just beautiful. Could you do some body sketches? Or maybe some hand breakdowns? Pretty please?

That is something to consider! I don't have a ton of extra time to devote to side projects, and I don't even know how helpful my tutorial would be! My process is a bit of a mess. But it could also be fun to break it down and try to show anyone who is interested how I build a character.... How about I really think about? I'm very intrigued by the idea but I just can't promise it due to time constraints right now. I'm so incredibly flattered though.

Whenever you get around to it. It was really just a question, so no pressure. You're art is very good - the expressions, the bodies, the action - and I think many people would benefit in learning from you (I know I would). But, to reiterate, no pressure; get around to it when you have the time/patience.... Or don't. *shrugs*

She reacted with extreme caution! I imagine Morrigan coming out of those ruins is a lot like finding out that a mountain lion has been stalking you.
It would be terribly disconcerting to fight to cut a swath through all those darkspawn in a the company of three other trained men and suddenly have this lone apostate slink in and fearlessly confront all four of you. And Arlana, being a non mage character, would have to be very uneasy about mages outside the protection of the circle. I feel like that is just in the Ferelden culture at this point.
So she was very careful, very respectful, and very anxious.

Omg I love her silhouette too! That probably sounds weird. I just sketched it out real quick to throw down the figure and it ended up all sleek and clean and ... I just wasn't expecting that. Haha.

They definitely had a limit to how much emotion they could get across at that point. I feel like Morrigan would have so many more eyebrow raises, eye rolls, and angry squints if they could have managed it. Instead I will draw it!
