The first dragon species from my comic to get a reference ^^
The Spider Wyverns :3 I love them xD

Info:

Species: Spider Wyvern
Location: plains, forests and caves
Trainable: due to they're lack of intelligence and the fact that they are very deadly because of the venom they hold, they are very rarely trained

description
The spider wyverns got their name because of their spider like fangs that contains a black deadly venom that can kill about any dragon.
They have very poor eyesight at daytime, but they have night vision. They also have poor hearing. Blindness is not rare for these dragons.
Spider Wyverns attack its prey or enemy from above like a hawk as they themselves are no good in close combat with a more muscular dragon. They are more built like a bat or bird than a dragon, and cant take much in battle exept if they can sink their spider fangs into its opponent.
They fight amongs each other very rarely, and males use their wings to spread and see whos scarier while screaming at each other to get females.

Spider Wyverns do not keep together after finding a partner. They mate, and the female lays eggs. Then they both leave the nest after the female has covered the eggs with her venom to protect the eggs, then she buries them in a cave.
The young survive their first week by eating insects, bats and other things that can be found in the cave.

Spider Wyverns do not have a roar, but a high pitched scream that can confuse enemies and irritate their ears. Else they sound much alike birds, only deeper of course.

They are a very curious species of dragons, and easily gets in trouble, or that is you get in trouble if it finds you interesting. But as any type of dragons they will obey their rider once it trusts him, even if they are known to eat almost anything including humans, one will not do so if under control by a experienced rider.
