Well, when I first started painting her I thought that a shiny Ninetales was a metallic silver. I have no idea what put that in my head, but I still like her. All of her tails are tipped blue, but not all of the can be seen from the picture.Pokemon belongs to its respected owners.

I believe it has a bluish-purplish coloration but the silver actually does look good with it

usually shinnies are just a term in pokemon for a different colored pokemon, but I used to think all them were gold and silver or copper colored. like crystal onix. but I imagine there could be metalic ninetails somewhere. its not out of the question. I have seen a green pinsir once... on pokemon stadium. not sure if it was the first or second version but I did see it.

You see, she is supposed to be a shiny Nintales (just like they can be in game; same colors.) I just thought that a real shiny Ninetales's was a more metallic color, not a silverish color like they are. So, the coloration was a problem on my part and not intentionally meant to give her a shiny look.

Well, since shinies really ARE shiny metallic actually quite fits. xD And it looks cool, hehe. Anyway, that Ninetales looks adorable!
