"When I woke up from my thousand year slumber as a demon, I didn't even have the courage to take a step out of Canterlot Castle for almost an entire month. Not only out of shame, I had so much to learn but I knew I would never be able to catch up enough...especially when I am so distracted by the people who matter most in my life now.
How horrified and guilt-ridden was I when I learned that over the past 1000 years, Celestia refused the title of Queen. Even after a thousand years, she didn't want to be any less equal then a fallen banished wretch such as I?
And the Element bearers...truly they were a heaven sent for my wayword soul. Celestia has taught the Element of Magic well, and the 5 other element bearers are filled with such natural valor, they are a blessing upon Equestria....and yet, looking upon their last member, I felt a feeling very unlike anything I had felt before in the unusual Pegasus known only as Rainbow Dash...Perhaps my recovery from corruption was not just by chance?
Mine eyes do not decieve me. My bones do not forget the energy that freed me, the awakened Elements of Harmony that far surpassed the bounds that banished me or that I used myself to banish Discord. And most importantly, the connection I feel to this young girl is unquestionable.
This pegasus that stands before me now holds that very same energy in every movement she makes. Her power allow her shake the very foundations of reality itself through shear force of will....who else could bear such a child but you, my dear sister.
Every time I ask, you avoid me, but I know the truth. You must have had your reasons, did you not? Could the Element of Loyalty, Loyalty, the spark of the very soul to action and courage, be ignited in such prim and proper castle such as this? Nay I say. And how strange it is, to find I'm an aunt to a fully grown demi-goddess, when I myself have not grown comfortable with my own existence.
But here, as she lay resting next to me, I know one thing that supersedes all this.
We're family. And that's all that matters right now."
