Very nice design! What does he look like in dragon form?

First thing I noticed is the moon, but not for a reason people may think.I was curious to see if the shadows matched our actual real life moon.I been studying things in general and that's just what I noticed off hand. Now for the center piece,I like how the moon appears to be giving off it's light and shining on him. However I like how certain parts of the clothing is dark, where as some parts is lit.Overall nice job,by the way my favorite part is the crown.

Hello from ProjectComment !
The level of detail in this piece is stunning. The design of the necklace, for example, is really wonderful. I zoomed in further on the image and started discovering aspects I hadnβt noticed at first - the bevel on the crest and the small inner chain, for example. Iβm also a big fan of the lace hem on the jacket. You even have an intricate baroque design on the castle thatβs just barely visible on the right side of the piece. It really feels like you spent a long time getting every aspect of the work just right and made it feel like it was a real person in a real place in a real culture that has developed a detailed design pattern in its garments and architecture. Very well done.
The image also has a great sense of storytelling with this person wearing this heavy crown in the shadow of a looming castle while expressing a thoughtful yet listless mood. Itβs not hard to imagine what this person may be thinking and feeling.
For how the piece could be improved - I think there is a very big issue with your lighting setup. The moon is visible behind the character, and itβs clear from the lighting (and title) that the moon is the main light source, but the light on the figure is clearly coming from the left. If the character were actually being lit by the moon we can see, he would more or less just have an outline of light. The hand in the foreground, the fingers closer to us on his lifted hand, the chin, and the crest on the necklace would all be in shadow. I know you want the moon in the image to communicate that heβs in the moonlight (and itβs also a very attractive night sky), but itβs not consistent with the figureβs lighting. Itβs also a little distracting from the character because itβs such a bright focal point so close to his face and therefore draws the eye away from what we should really be looking at - his expression. So overall, I think the image would be much better if the moon were removed from the sky.
But again, itβs a really wonderful piece with a very high level of detail and story. Great work, keep it up!

I really like what you did with the moonlight here! Once and awhile i like medieval stuff but not as much as i use to as a teenager. This reminds me of the elder scrolls 5 skyrim where the people in different city capitals ruled that area. Then the only time you could see them was in their castle or main building they stayed at. So i hope you keep making good stuff like this! This looks really nice from the realism you put into this! x3

Yo I'm with Β
And boi oh boozzeled! I AM BAMBOOZZELED! This is awesome! I'm instantly interested in this potatoes character.
Is he really a king? or is he a PRINCE??? Maybe he's just someone who pretends to be royal in his spare time. Like that awkward scene from the Descendants movie when the one guy wears the crown for some strange reason. I'm thinking way too hard into this.
You're style reminds me a lot of this one graphic novel I have in my collection. It's the type of style you'd use for a more serious story. Then again I might be reading this entirely wrong. My comic has a cute style and I dark story. Who says your art cant have the vice versa?!
You're style also looks very famillia-... *looks at your gallery* wait a minute. You're the apron person! xD Hey there. Hahaha. Well I'll continue...
Β I love the dark colors but the blue of his jacket does blend in a bit with the sky. It's not BAD, like I can still tell whats what. Just keep that in mind. That sorta stuff bugs me a lil. My main character is blond and all the walls and stuff are yellow and I wish I would've considered that before I got this far.
Overall though. Nice pic ^^

Thanks for the comment! As for the character himself, I'm fairly sure he's a king but he's AMEcco's character so they would know better than I xD
Thanks again~

The name made me think it was Emyr van Emheris from the Witcher series. But if he's a Dragon in "human form", that suggests to me a D&D Dragon, who have the power to polymorph into non-dragon forms.Β
