Description These are so cute I wanted to barf after making them. I've got a picture of me wearing them; I might post it in scraps and link it here so folks can get an idea of how big they are.

They are too too cute. You can sure sell these babies! They'll go like ..um.. not hotcakes--creamsicles. How much for a pair?

I'm thinking $5 for the simpler ones like this or the fortune cookies, $7 for the ones that have more detail (the cannolis). Does that seem fair, for one-of-a-kind handmade stuff?

Those prices are too fair, I think.

Have you looked at work people offer here, at the dA shop?
Have you checked out... [link] ...[<-that's a safe link to Etsy.com], where many here sell homemade jewelry?
Did you add the amount of time it took you make these?
Have you included the cost of any added "stuff"--like the posts you bought for these?

Then dooo eet and good luck.
I'd buy some in a hot minute if my fear of needles wasn't so complete I refuse to get my ears pierced.

the prices might be "too fair" but that's because the materials are cheap and i enjoy what i'm doing. i also make fridge magnets, hair bobby-pins and barrettes and i will be making necklaces soon. once i have some actual disposable income, i will probably open an etsy shop; the competition there seems so fierce, though.

still working on the whole etsy idea. i might have to collaborate with my mom on it -- put up some of my stuff and her stuff and split the cost of having the shop (her stuff is way more expensive and time-intensive than mine is). she's been wanting to do something like that for a while so she might actually be up for it.

what would you like to see? i've got the berry pies but i now have a cheesecake (coming soon once it's finished) and i want to try my hand at a peach or apple pie before too long. i have a bunch of stuff on a list I want to make; basically, take a lot of stuff you see here and I want to do the opposite, at least as it pertains to food.

sounds good about getting your mom involved. i bought several things from etsy, mainly work by =innerdiameter .
oh and i got distracted by beadwork on there too, some xmas in the past, and got some for gifts.

my kid wants to put her beadwork there someday. but lately she's too sick to bead and i'm not sure what she has finished.
i've been paying [over-paying, by now] for a beaded purse she only has about 3/4th finished, and it's been that way a looong time.

apple pie sounds really interesting, but so does the cheesecake. in fact, creamsicles do too. i'm pretty boring regarding food, i guess. i mean, basic food is what i'd like to see on the fridge, i think. i'll look at pics and stuff wherever you have them. are you meaning you can make whatever food you have as earrings into a magnet too? then fortune cookies also seem fun.
sounds like i oughta leave it to you, huh?

and [ooh! aah!] just sent you a note with a 'possible' for screamprompts # 22, the january one. eh...it was fun to write at least. (:

i think what i've been doing is making the little clay pieces and then thinking about them and what they'd best be suited for. the pies seem to be the obvious choice for magnets. everything else kind of depends on the size they end up being.

good old artistic license. this is all up to you then. i like whatever you do with clay.
in fact, i wish i lived closer to you and could eat what you cook for dinner some evening...yum.

I make pretty good food. I used to not like cooking when I was younger and had kind of a fear of "fancier" food (sometimes this is not a story that seems to be told by "celebrity chefs", like I'm even in their ballpark) but I seem to have gotten over it. I wouldn't call myself a foodie, that title seems to go hand in hand with snobbery. I will always eat chicken fingers with ranch until the day I die but basil and butter snails with a bottle of Pouilly-Fuisse at Mon Ami Gabi... I'll want that, too.

I bet you make "pretty good food." I had no idea the term "foodie" goes with "snobbery." Huh. Learn something everyday. I'd eat whatever's on the menu should I see you.

Foodies who are snobs seem to be home cooks who have dumb friends This is a grossly dumb generalization but from what I've read in magazines and on food websites for the years since I became a professional cook, I have a hard time not thinking it's true.

lol
Are you callin me dumb? Maybe I am. I don't read food articles (except "Tables for Two" in The New Yorker) and never read a food website.

Thank you. I made two pair -- I wish I had checked which ones I picked up for the photo, the one on its side is kind of smushed. Maybe it's anticipating a hot Vegas summer

i've found a local polymer clay group that meets in Vegas. i can't wait to bring these and show them off. it could be the start of something awesome.

that is a strange reaction to cuteness - the urge to barf, that is.

These are super cute though. Still struggling to understand the gag reflex but whatevs

I don't understand my need to barf at things that are cute, either. I'm highly sensitive.
