That would be interesting. There's so much in this picture alone too: she finds the Digestive biscuits in some space-bound rations a British astronaut left behind, and the hat a gift from a visiting Houston Space Center controller. And the sheer volume of space tech those crazy Aperture technicians could build...the mind boggles.

I used a 3D application called GMod. Chell model is a custom port by a guy named Bloocobalt.
I build the scene with different props and posed Chell among them. Sat up the light as I wanted it and bingo

hmm... what kind of movies? and what was your position in making them? how long were they?
yes, i find posing easier myself, but heck. that can be done with only one person! we will be filming a portal movie next summer, and until then, we only have less then a year to get the story finished and the facts straightened out, along with what everything will look like.
in short: we need as many volunteers, props, and cameras as we can get. any help will be helpful.

well, most of it is going to be acting. dont worry about that. if anything, we just need short clips of wheatly and glados in whatever they are doing. everything else will be copy and pasted from the game and put into the green-screen.

Second is a demonstration of a stool for GMod called Catmull-Rom Cinematic Cameras.
You use it to make smooth cam movements and so on.

WAITAMINUTE. Did you actually pose chell's face, or did she just come out looking like that from that angle or something? Because some friends and I are making a mod, and we've been looking for a way to pose faces, and haven't found it yet.

She has face flexes. Bloocobalt who ported her is still working on the model. I am beta testing her for him. Do not know when he will release her.

I use a 3D application called GMod. It has a range of models that can be posed. You can set lights and build the scene, add props and more. Much like 3D Max and other 3D programs.

Omg, so cool! This looks CG, is it? Chel looks great, love her look in this and her expression--just a sort of quiet, contiplative sadness. But at least she has cake! XD Question, though, why does it say "Aperture Space"? I didn't think Aperture had a space program.

This is a map Evil Ash ported to Gmod. It is called White Hole and is a custom L4D2 champaign with a Portal theme. It is all set in a big spaceship.
