Idiot soldier forgot the first law of female heroes: No armor beats plot armor. They can wear as much or as little as they like, and they're automatically protected. In fact, nudity actually decreases the chances of them getting hit for reasons that nobody understands.

Half my D&D characters would beg to differ too (as would I and my male characters), as all my female characters are warriors, rather strong ones too, like I'm playing Orc Fighter (who's a lesbian btw) who's 6'8" and is incredibly strong and like the other 2 female characters of mine she likes axes (Bearded Battleaxes to be specific)

Elena is anything but a cute little girl. Her back story.
When she was 7, she was sold as a slave when her parents got killed by slavers.
When the slave caravan she was on got attacked and raided by bandits, the bandit leader though the little girl reminded him of his daughter he lost to sickness. He took her under his wings, became a father for her and and taught her how to fight.
He had to since life in a bandit group is tough. He made sure the best fighters trained her daily.
In a harsh unforgiving world, a girl needs all the advantages she can get.
When he died of old age, Elena grief stricken, left the bandit group and set out in to the world to fend for her self and perhaps find her self. It turned out her foster father had learned her to fight quite well. She wandered the land, sold her skills as a sword woman until she met Lilith a elf sorceress and Elidin, a rough and wood elf [link]
They became friends a lovers. She have stayed with them ever since.
The sword you see Elena has is the same she got from her foster father. Lilith tried to give her a new one, but Elena refused to part with it. So Lilith being a sorceress, applied some magic to it to improve the old blade and to make sure her beloved warrior was there to be beloved.
