Peep looked up at the wyngling standing above her. She stood back up on her claws and turned to wheatly "h-hi!!! I didnt expect to see anyone else here, my names peep whats yours?" She awkwardly tried to form a sentence

"oh, my name is wheatley!" said wheatley. "do you come out here too? theΒ nightΒ sky is beautiful"

Peep happily nodded and smiled "yeah! I love coming out here! The stars are so pretty!!" she sat back down and patted the grass next to her and gave a big smile. "Come sit down!!"

Evan, having wanted to get some fresh air, had left The Nook earlier. He stumbled upon another Wyngling, a Wyngling that he didn't know, then again, being one of the new Wynglings meant that he didn't really know anyone. He took a deep breath, starting to become a little anxious. He was preparing to say hello.

Peep turned around sharply, startled by the sound of rustling grass. Her expression soon softened up as soon as she saw it was another wyngling. "O-oh.. hi! Im peep,, um.. who are you?" She anxiously looked down at the ground

Evan took another deep breath when the Wyngling addressed him. "I-I'm Evan. W-Who are you?" He walked closer to the Wyngling, and he sat down beside them, he felt that he was doing a good job socializing. He wasn't exactly the most social Wyngling, considering he didn't have that much confidence in himself anyways.

Β "Oh! Im,, well, im peep!" She turned back towards the moon and looked down. "i didnt really expect to see another wyngling here... i thought all the others had fallen asleep." She turned towards evan and gave a sheepish smile "im glad it was another wyngling though, if alma caught me out past bedtime i'd be done for!!!" She giggled a bit at her own joke, and then looked back at evan. "So! Uh- why are you out so late?"Β

Evan laughed at Peep's joke, he kind of liked her sense of humor. "Well, t-things at The Nook w-were getting a little heavy on me, i-in a way. S-So I just came out for some f-fresh air!" He shrugged, looking up at the night sky. "I-It's a v-v-very nice night." He commented.

"Yeah!! Its really pretty. I dont know many of the wynglings yet, and nights in the nook can be pretty crowded... so every night or so i come out here." She took a big breath of the cold air. "Yknow, i think its clear enough that you can see some of the planets from here." peep stood up and offered her claw to evan "i know an even better spot for stargazing, follow me!!"Β

Evan took Peep's claw and he heaved himself up, "R-Really?" He grew very, very excited, this spot was already a great place for stargazing, the thought of a better spot just thrilled him! "Where is it?" A wide smile appeared on his face.

"up on top of one of the highest trees i know!" Peep's excitement also grew, " i love climbing trees, you can see the whole sky up there." Peep looked hopefully at evan, her face beaming

Anxiety began to tug at Evan when he heard that the trees were high, he was about to say that he didn't want to go up there, but, you never know what could happen if you don't try it. "W-Well, lead the way!" Excitement came back with full force when he heard that you could see the whole sky from up in those trees. He couldn't imagine it without being awe-struck!

Peep vigorously began to climb, digging her claws into the bark and lifting up her back paws. She rested her paws around the tree, and continued to scootch up it. She finally stopped once she got to a small branch, just grown. "Do you need help getting up here?" She caller down to her friend below

Evan jumped up and hooked onto the tree with his hind claws, and holding onto the trunk of the tree with his front paws. He scootched up the tree until he got close enough to the branch that Peep was on. He took a deep breath, "U-Uh, yeah! I could use a little help getting onto the branch." He held out one of his paws to Peep, hoping that she would take it and help him up, he trusted her a lot, actually.

Peep firmly grasped his paw, and lifted him up to the branch. Wobbling a bit, but eventually regaining balance. Once he got up peep took a breather, and then smiled at evan. "Good news! We just got past the hard part. From now on, theres going to be plenty of branches to make climbing much easier." She gestured towards the massive rows and groups of branches above them. "I just need a second to breathe" she gasped, still slightly out of air

"T-Thanks for helping me u-up." Evan took a few seconds to catch his breath. "W-Well, it's good to h-hear that the hard part i-is over with!" He sighed, relieved, he realized that he survived his first attempt at climbing a tree, it made him feel fantastic! "O-Oh! Take all the time that y-you need to catch your breath. I'm n-not in a rush."

Peep gave a determined smile and pointed to a high, dense branch above her. "These branches are super duper packed together, climbing them is a breeze, considering every branch you go onto has 5 Β less than an inch away." She turned and leaped towards the branch, her back paws hanging in the air but a strong grip on her front claws. She pulled herself up and then continued to hop up to the branches above her. She finally reached the top branch, and poked her head out the cover leaves. She ducked down and a bright, inviting smile grew on her face. "The view's stunning up here!!! Come on up!!" She lifted herself off the branch, and into the leaves

Evan started climbing after her, he was a little slower, as he was being cautious so that he wouldn't fall. But, he soon made it up to where Peep was, he looked around, she was right, the view was outstanding! He could sit here and watch the sky for hours!

Peep stared up at the night sky, starry-eyed. "Hey evan look!! you can see the big dipper up here!" She pointed to the constellation, and then lay down on the leaves, looking at the sky. "You never see these kinds of stars from the village!" She patted the thick layers of leaves she was on top, and looked beyond the vast sea of treetops next to her. From this high up, she could see the whole village as a small glowing dot in the distance. "the village looks like a star from here!!' She pointed out.
