Description The sculpted Ratha head needed a body. This is actually an older drawing that I modified. First I added the skull by using Photoshop to convert a photograph of the Dinaelurus illumina skull into something similar to line art. Then I cut and pasted it onto the full-body drawing. I did the same with the head itself, using a photo of the finished bust, making it into line art and then pasting it in trying to make sure that the skull matched the head. I used multiple layers and varied the opacity so that
the skull is visible through the head.

The idea behind all this is to develop a believable four-legged felinoid (nimravid) with near-human brain capacity so that it could have human-level intelligence and sapience. I didn't want it to look deformed or dorky.

This is still very much a work in progress. Comments welcome. The little bits off to the side are various eyes and ears that I tried on the figure.

Very well done. I often think through things like this when worldbuilding, so it's fun to see other people do it -- especially the art which I can't do, since mine is all text.

Wonderful I'm only surprised to see that the felines are based off of nimravids! I suppose I'll have to change how I picture them. Its great to see them in shape though

I'm impressed! It is very well planned, and pretty much the image that comes to mind when reading your books
