Description
Sample page for the Ratha's Creature Graphic Novel. Based on an original storyboard page rough by me (Clare Bell). Layout by Tod Wills, pencils by Dani Long with suggestions and help from Lew Lashmit, inking and coloring by Tod Wills, lettering by Sheila Ruth. Based on the first chapter of Ratha's Creature by Clare Bell.Done entirely by Ratha fan artists working with the series author! Amazing.

Dear folks,
I noticed that a bunch of groups had asked to display this art on their pages, and many of the requests expired before I could get to them (being frantically busy with the project). I now feel like a bit of an idiot, but I did send notes to all the groups saying that if they asked again, I would definitely accept.
If you know groups that want to display this sample page, please let them know that I will immediately accept any requests, and I am really sorry about the screw-up.

The three-horn is based on protoceratid species although with some slight modifications based on the description in the book that this is based on (Ratha's Creature).

That's an awesome idea. When you get to the making-of book, please ping me; I'll want to promote that. People need resources on how to do this stuff, and there aren't really a lot of those.

Wow, I keep hearing of the books, but I can never find them >< Being a big cat lover and a lover of reading, the Named series is at the top of my "Books to read" list!
The page looks AWESOME, you don't see many water colored graphic novels, which makes it 100 times more interesting because everything is now digital (even if my future career will use the Adobe products XD) Keep up the amazing work!

Wow,something really neat has just happened. *seasaidh on DA here(Jessica Alvis) has started her own version of a "Ratha's Challenge" to support the graphic novel's Kickstarter page.
She's asking different fan artists to do a piece during every day of the the Kickstarter, expressing how they feel about the project. Her post explains it a lot better I can. Here's the link:

There are no news/possibilities for an edition of the books in my language? (italy)
My books in english to read list it's too full ! XD (i can do it, but they take me the double of the time to read them ^^)

This graphic novel covers the first book, Ratha's Creature, from beginning to end, without losing any major chunks.
If you know of an Italian publisher who would like to translate the books, please let me know. I'm willing to work with them. We recently had a Russian edition, so an Italian one would be great!
