Hi Lena_Panthera,
I also would very much like to see a French edition. I know that some expressions might be hard to translate into French, however some of them could be changed into synonyms that would be easier. "Litterling", for instance, could be "little cub" or something similar. "Lairmother could just be "mother". I'd be willing to work with a French translator.
Do you know of any French publishers who might be interested in the series? Or who publish series such as Warrior Cats? Thanks again

In the first book I did imagine that the Named were more leopard-like, because I had chosen the species Nimravus, the one depicted in the Charles R. Knight painting of Eusmilus and Nimravus fighting over prey. Nimravus was described as leopard-like due to it's head shape. They became more cheetah-like, partially due to the Glenn Harrington book covers (He originally did Tomorrow's Sphinx, and carried that style over to the Thistle-chaser and Ratha's Challenge covers.) In Clan Ground, Book 2, Thakur, who was already described as slender and fast, took on more cheetah-like characteristics.
I enjoy both interpretations, and this Russian cover is beautifully done,as are the interior color and black and white illustrations.

Very nice! I bet it makes you feel both proud and excited to see your books going so far, isn't it? Being printed in other languages must be pretty awesome.
By the way...I had a couple of questions from one writer to another...care if I ask them via note?

I am exceedingly proud and excited; You hit the nail on the head there! It is definitely awesome, especially since the Russian publisher contacted me about doing it. I then notified my agent, and things went from there. Yes, I'd be happy to answer your questions via note.

I would very much like to see a German edition. If you know a German publisher, I'd be willing to work with them. Or any other European language. Thanks!
