Description
This was the Holy Family Convent of the Sisters of Charity of New Jersey, located in Danville, Pennsylvania. It is presently set to be decommissioned, having been purchased by the Geinsinger medical corporation, which runs a major hospital across from it where this was taken. The tower is the convent itself and represents a style of architecture extremely rare in American religious buildings. At night, it is lit up like a lighthouse where its cross pinnacle serves as a beacon as with similar building from late Medieval times.
