Well... the plan didn't exactly work.

Cia managed to snatch the Chaos Emerald when Sunset made a grab for it. Mirror Sunset, forgetting about her payday, lashed out with her pistol only to come face to face with someone who looked like her.

"What the? Who the hell are you?!"

Twilight chased after Cia, following the sorceress up to the second level in the lobby. Casting a quick magic bolt, she tried to catch her opponent off guard. The response... was a stream of fire aimed right at her. Twilight had to dive behind a pillar and throw up a clumsey shield spell to keep from getting burned.

Meanwhile on the ground floor, Sunset had managed to knock her counterpart's gun out of her hand.
"Don't want to fight you!" Sunset said, brandishing the Master Sword. To her surprise, Mirror Sunset drew a sword of her own. One that had some magic of its own.
"Well too bad!" Mirror Sunset declared. "You ruined my chance at one helluva payday. Now you're going to pay."

Blade met blade, and the two Sunsets, each a mirror image of the other, were locked in battle.
