I love the strong focus in some parts and the more delicate focus in other parts. The tone is also slightly romantic and antiqued. I love the whole feeling I get from it--all pleasant and calming.

I don't know if I can say any more about this than has already been said, but jesus! this is profoundly beautiful - cliched statement I realize. Sort of creepy too. Looking at it gives me mixed feelings:
(1) "so, this is what the medium can be made to do. I've never seen anything like it before. It's actually a new retinal sensation"
(2) "so, this is what the medium can be made to do. I wonder if I'll ever have such an open mastery of it"

She tried to escape and go back home, only to find out home was no longer there. At first she was sad with no place to call "home". It was only a matter of time before she realized home never disappeared...it came with her. It was in everything she did, every person she was with, and everything she learned along the way. Comfort isn't the best word to describe the feeling that came over her, it was more like relief.

The depth of focus is fantastic, definately draws attention to her eye, which is gorgeous. The sepia tone is wonderful and I think adds to the mystical touches of the picture. The flower and petals gives her a faeryish look. I love it!
