That is so awesome! When I saw the title, I immediately thought of Fall Out Boy.

Wow, awesome drawing, Rauts. For a speedpainting, it's a pretty damn epic one.
This certainly would make for an interesting 'what-if' scenario. If Twilight wasn't at Maripony when the balefire bombs fell and instead was in a city and managed to get into a Stable, all sorts of possibilities open up. Once the radiation levels outside reached their half-life state, would she even choose to venture out? She'd probably do it in the slim but futile hope that some of her friends made it, but eventually, she realizes that all her friends are dead. In her despair, she nearly commits suicide, but at the last moment, she realizes that this is not the way her friends would want her life to end, and instead takes a vow to use what remaining years she has (which probably aren't that many, as she was described as pretty old during the events of FO:E) to help and defend the other survivors of the apocalypse. Under the guidance of the sole remaining Ministry Mare and Element of Harmony, many of the wasteland towns and cities are founded, and she is once again hailed as a hero. One day, though, after many years in the public eye, the venerable Twilight Sparkle mysteriously disappears, with some witnesses claiming to have seen her wandering alone off into the wastes, tattered traveling cloak flapping in the breeze, never to be seen again. Some say she died alone in the wastes, with others saying she went off in search of a final valiant battle against raiders or some wasteland abomination, and still others proposing that she traveled to the ruins of Ponyville, where her and her friends had spent their most joyous years together, and upon reaching it, simply fell asleep in the ruins of her library and never woke up. This picture to me occurs during that final journey Twilight took, with Twilight's old, scarred face looking back over the desolate wasteland, fervently hoping that someday, things will get better, and Equestria will come back to life. Very fitting moment for this drawing to illustrate, in my opinion, at least.
