Tsutomu Calastar served as Warden of the Adeptus Custodes & Prefect of the Adeptus Terra during the height of the Horus Heresy. A Master of the Hurricanis Martial Style, he was renowned for the blinding speed with which he could wield his unique Crescent Powerblade. In battle, he would tear through his opponents in a frenzied blur, moving so quickly as to be almost impossible for the eye to follow.

He held the Eternity Wall alongside Solar General Saul Niborran & Imperial Fists Huscarl Cadwalder, staving off a massive World Eater's assault for fifty-five days before falling in glorious combat. His sacrifice bought the Imperium enough time for reinforcements to arrive. Threatened by impending defeat, Horus was forced to halt his advance and made the infamous final gambit that lead to his death at the hands of the Emperor. The Horus Heresy was put to an end at great cost, but Tsutomu's sacrifice will never be forgotten.

I wanted to capture the intensity of a man who faced down legions of his adversaries for weeks on end. I also wanted him to have a powerful & distinct weapon, differentiating him from his peers. Let me know what you think!
