Too be fair, we already kicked DmC ass two times with DMC HD collection & DMC4SE sales, DmC and Definitive Edition didn't meet Capcom expectation. And there is tons of news/leak about DMCV being actually be in developpement.

Definitely with this but if you pretend the brunette is someone else and just go with fighting it's an alright to just mindlessly fight through. I personally think it's fun to use the Angel side to swing about, reminds me if the Swingshot from Ratchet and Clank. But to be clear I do prefer to Dante before DmC and they need to make a proper game cuz it's been a while and its definitely needed. Why leave such a good series on such a foul note.

I think at this point the higher ups at Capcom are trying to make as much money as possible screwing the consumers,what little fans they have and their apologists until that day comes when they go under. Monster Hunter and Ace Attorney is all they got left in terms of IPs that have yet to be ruined outside of a small amount of video games that are published by them that turned out to be magnificent such as Ducktales Remastered and maybe the new Strider.
If by some freaking miracle the real Devil May Cry 5 somehow surfaces,it better be handled by the same people behind DMC3 and DMC4 if it hopes to remain relevant and great.
Although I would not mind Trish being able to switch between herself and Gloria as a style change.
Lady finally being a playable character with her own set of guns and abilities.
Nero further expanded upon and given more weapons to play around with. On a similar note,Axl from Megaman X8 got a massive overhaul. He combined the best of X and Zero. I see no reason for Nero not to be treated in the same fashion.
Find some reason to either bring back Vergil in a non Megaman X6 manner or have the ability to play as him in his own mode.

I don't care if people say how great the gameplay is, I found the story & characters unbelievably DISGUSTING and INSULTING to the original series!
And no, I don't care that the point of a reboot means changing things from the original, that game was a huge F*** YOU to the fans!

Small problem, since the actual timeline is DMC 3, DMC 1, DMC 4 and then DMC 2, what are we going to be able to do?
I mean all they'd be able to show is what the hell happened to that entire area and why the hell we have tanks and helicopters coming to live with demon infestations, not only that but didn't Dante just ride a motorbike straight into hell?

Wouldn't be much of a rescue if you have both the twins there, but letting Vergil's own son try and save him might mark an interesting turn in his character for the better, let's see how long Capcom takes before they think of the idea, and hopefully not do anything dumber like hand the game over to Team Ninja or something.
Otherwise we can just hope that the background story of the new Sparda and Eva(It's honestly more interesting than the two brats that we're stuck playing as) might have something to bring to the table-

One DLC and Ninja Theory is on the same page as George Lucas now, greaaaat.
