I might be somewhat late with this, but I just wanted to say that this is a fantastic profile for such an overlooked animal, especially with the colours you've used for it!

Heh, no such thing as a late comment <3 I'm really glad you enjoyed this piece. It was one of my earliest kind of 'fully detailed' totem pieces, and it was a powerful personal experience as well. I need to illustrate more primates!

This is by far my favorite monkey. I'm generally not a fan of monkeys, as they remind me of people, but the Golden Snub-Nosed Monkey is such an interesting looking animal! I also love lemurs ;D

Lol, that's good, because I have imperfect circles EVERYWHERE. Lol.

Oooo I've always wanted to do deep-sea fish totems. That would be *awesome*
And I don't really like monkeys, but I do like the golden snub-nosed monkeys, they are beautiful, and have such expressive faces.

I can see the agonizing detailing there - wow.
ItΒ΄s beautiful. The patterns and the colours are exactly as theyΒ΄re supposed to be. Great work!

Yeah the inking of this picture drove me nuts. The colouring thankfully, blessedly, wonderfully didn't take half as long.
