"Don't act goth" you yell at me."That's not the way you want to be"
But what if it is I think I like it.
I don't care even if you hate it.
I am who I am and I always will be.
I like the way I am. Why can't you see?
You think yellin will make it go away?
That only makes me want it to stay.
You think I am wrong and you are right.
You want me to change, to "see the light"
I will not do that I will not change.
My life is mine, not yours to rearange.
I love the dark and hate the light.
I don't care if it's wrong or right.
I hope one day that you will see
this isn't a phase. I'm being me.
You can hate me I really don't mind.
Just remember it isn't very kind.
You want me out of your life. Done.
But remember you are doing this, you are the one
who tried to change my life and me.
Tried to turn me into something I didn't want to be.
One day you'll look back and finally know
this was teh way I had to go.

Most of the time. It went great with the lowrider bicycle. Turned heads everywhere I went (though sometimes for the wrong reasons). I take pride in being a bit of an oddball at times. Lol.

I'm somewhat of goth myself, and I agree with others' comments. Being goth isn't "wrong" or "bad". It can be really beautiful and isn't what many perceive it to be.Β

Some parents just don't seem to accept gothic subculture, but really that's there loss. There is beauty in everything, even darkness.

Simple yet beautiful
i just got into goth last summer, and i'm fucking sick of people asking me if i cut my wrists or if im suicidal. im lucky to have supportive parents and its great to know theres people like you out there

I have a bestfriend and last year I wore all colors mainly pink because thats what I thought I had to wear but now I'm goth and I wear black and I'm still me but I'm the real me and she and everyone else who I thought where my friends but they just don't talk to me much anymore and I just...I'm still the same person but I listen to the music I like and look how I like but they don't think so

I'm sorry hun. Just be who you are and don't do things to fit in a stereotype or what others want you to be. Be what makes you happy as long as it doesn't hurt you or others. I'm not as "goth" as I used to be, but I still wear my dark clothes. I listen to all kinds of music. And I still dye my hair random colors. And I'm 24 now. Just find out who you are and be happy with that person.
