I live with anxiety problems, and I get depressed when my anxiety isn't properly managed. It's why I am willing to defend others against Pitch but nervous to go up against him for my own sake. If he knew my biggest fear was being afraid, i.e. having a panic attack/not being in control of my emotional response to change and perceived negative feedback, he'd never let me sleep.
This piece hit very close to home for me.
