Update of the lines I did, yesterday. When it came to coloring Axl, I had to look at it carefully- his initial colors were black and red, but the black wasn't blatantly dark. For a while, I thought of going with ultramarine, as was the case in later iterations, I went with black, lightly colored in to get the dark metallic color right.

As for additions, I went with the stripe patterns, going down from the boots to the toe, and made the heels white and red, a nod to the rockets on his armor. The waistband, I went with gold yellow red and blue to work a little of the core on Axl's usual armor. For his hair, it was either brownish gold or orange, but since he was seen as a bit younger, I went with orange. The scar on his face was pretty simple- I went with a darker peach color to get it in- the mark of his inexperience during his days with the Red X syndicate.

This turned into a simple, but fun work, though I will admit I made a mistake- note to self- next time, set the blue core on the helmet more over the brow... Still, it turned out pretty good.
