Description 9X12 inches Acrylic on canvas

This is my interpretation of the beautiful photograph β€œGathering Storm” by [link] I took a few liberties, especially by increasing the intensity of the colors by mixing all my colors using only the primary colors.

wow! Thats how I always paint; by using primary colours. I do have these 2 different acrylic paints of blue and red that make good purples because the normal red and blue doesn't come out very well to make purple.

That is a good way of achieving rich, pure hues.
I usually use two sets of primary colors. One warm and one cool. And I mixed all my colors from these. Sometimes, I may add Yellow Ochre, and Burnt Sienna to my palette.

Well the primary colours are all i got so thats what i use but i never knew they give out more vibrant colours. I just add black or white to make it dusky or bright. I mix a mixed colour into another to give another shade of the colour.
