Hungry.Panthera tigris altaica - Amur tiger, (a.k.a Siberian tiger)
This photo was taken on the 19/1 - 2014.
This was my first visit at Nordens Ark this year and it was pretty cold.
This is one of the tiger cubs and they were around 8 months old when I took
this photo and they were really playful. The cubs were struggling with the meat
while the mom ran away with a big meat piece and looked pretty pleased with it, haha.
The staff had some problems opening the enclosure when she was suppose to lay
out the food. The lock was so frozen that she had to warm it up with her hands and when
she tried to open the lock with the key, the key broke.
