Woah! Look! Such pink! Much cute! Very fluffy! Wow!I really wanted to catch one of the cats up in one of the Japanese cherry trees again, but the weather has been bad and I've been a bit too tired to make an effort.
However, one day the weather cleared up and I pulled myself together, grabbed the camera and started to stalk the cats, very eager to make them climb the biggest cherry tree, like: "Plz, plz climb the tree!?"
Did they though? Of course not.
The only reason why I finally got any cheery blossom pictures at all was because Felix for some reason chased Tintin up into the tree (picture of that here: Up, up into the pink cloud! ) and I had to hurry, hurry and climb the nearby fence to get up high enough to reach into all the flowers so I could take pictures.
Tintin was kind enough to stay still for a while. Goooood kitty and, yes, so pretty in pink.
This is the same Japanese cherry tree as in these photos.
What a difference a little bit of spring and warmth does, huh?
The photo on the right with Felix is some years old and I didn't shoot in RAW back then. I think it shows. Yay for improving!

That is a very smart cat.
He is cloaking you see. Under cover, pretending to be such a nice sweet little cat with absolutely nothing but nice thoughts in mind.
But undeneath this cover he off course is a special 'red-opps-cat' with a license to kill. So beware every little birdy and fly away before 'double-OO-Cat' shows his real colours

I try to take as many photos as possible with my cats and flowers, but it's hard to beat a cherry tree in full bloom.

Cats are great subjects! They know how to pose and just look pretty.
My cat though... lolol... totally different topic! He knows how to look cute and all... but once I put a camera on his face... he just gives me that look... what the heck do you think you are doing look... lol.

Not all cats pose naturally. My four certainly didn't to begin with and most of the time they still don't. 
It's taken practice on both my part and theirs for me to catch good photos of them.
And some cats just dislike the camera for some reason. I'm not sure why.
But you can always camera train your cat by starting to have the camera around a lot so the cat gets used to it. 
A camera makes a lot of low, but funny sounds that the cats hear a lot better than we do.
For example the lens makes a lot of sounds when it's adjusting and focusing and the zoom makes other sounds. Cats can find them distracting or weird when they're not used to them, I've noticed.
And thanks again! It's not one of my personal favourites - I think I've got some other photos that are better - but the flowers make it something extra.

It is the cherry blossoms that most definitely caught my eye. We have lots of cherry blossoms here as well, and I love it when they are in full bloom!
