Sheik is female? I mean, yeah, Sheik is Zelda, but I thought the magic Zelda used to create the Sheik persona actually turned her into a man. Is that wrong? It's been ages since I really looked into this.

Nintendo confirmed Sheik was female in Super Smash Bros Melee, way back in 2001. Makes sense. Why use magic on yourself when duct tape is cheap?

Ah, Got it. I have never owned a Nintendo console of my own (even though as did own a wiimote and copy of Twilight Princess... Long story), so I don't really pay attention to the story behind their characters. I watched my friend play OoT back when it was new, and I guess I developed a preconception about Sheik.
