i'm intrigued by this - appropriate treatment for an image of a concrete path. It looks as though its been through an acid bath! very evocative

wow, mal wieder richtig klasse- ist das gebΓ€ude so schief oder stammt das von deinem einwirken?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

rawimage In reply to DeLaV [2007-07-18 08:15:23 +0000 UTC]

the top one? not the left one?

~gaarie seems to like it, too. (check out his comment on mine...)

gaarie In reply to eisenkalk [2007-07-17 17:28:51 +0000 UTC]

ha, after all of the "abuse" this photo has all over it, one little dark line is stopping your from +fav-ing it? i find that funny. did you even notice the BIGASS dark line down the left?

to me, photography is about the imperfections. every part of a photo from its "shortcomings" to it's perfections give it character. with or without it, this photo is nice.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

eisenkalk In reply to gaarie [2007-07-17 18:08:47 +0000 UTC]

i am not talking about nice. i am talking about perfect. and simple imperfections don't make a perfect for me. if this would be the case i would have to fav till my fingers bleed.

imperfections have to have a meaning, composition or some other feature to please my viewing pleasure. you are right about the character of a picture imho. but character does not mean viewing pleasure for every watcher.

well, i'll have a look at your gallery and fav-tab to get a better frame for your comment. (if that is, what you wanted - you won )
