I've been toying around with various ideas to mix my art with my faith. When I did this lion in pen and watercolor, I remembered the phrase on a Jerusalem t-shirt, Behold the Lion of Judea.

So that was it, I found scripture about lions in chapters of the bible, from Genesis to Revelation and fitted as many as I could into the mane.

This is a first, I don't normally put words or sentences into my art, but this time it turned out well. Expect more in the future!!
