The IR film gave this shot some great coloration. I love the detail in the shot, the whole image just comes together very nicely.

Great work!

great capture, the sepia tone adds exactly the right amount of nostalgia to this one. It's like anytime there could someone leave the house dressed up according to la belle epopΓ©

Yes... because the way the IR works the real colour of the building was a sand stone colour and the IR made it look like that. No colour change was done at all, just slight adjustment on the levels and that was it... but it worked so well with that kind of building to give it that aged feel… thanks again.

dig it. it's really got that "old time photo" feeling about it... and that suits it quite well

Thank you.. after seeing the building the IR I felt would look right. As you said it suits...

color infrared? never played with that before...what film do you use?

this pic has an intensely haunted look like old world...makes me want to explore...

Don’t use film anymore all my work is digital, some digital cameras don’t work with IR filters but ones that do give this cool looking colours. Thanks pleased you like it

how you make the effect that look like a sephia photo???... or is the camera that you use?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Raymate In reply to alexander00 [2004-04-19 22:56:45 +0000 UTC]

I used an INFRARED filter attached to my camera, this gives me this effect with my camera, but you will get different results depending on the camera

I have a love of that faded-brown look, which you pulled off so well here. It looks almost burned, charred, adding to the haunted house idea; it just sets up really well how the house could be haunted. it!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Raymate In reply to bluwyndfaerie [2004-04-16 16:32:19 +0000 UTC]

The colouring is a side effect of the IR... but this to me is it's strengths... thanks for your nice comment. It's appreciated
