Description
These are the last two lines of the region before the legendaries! The first are obviously cheetahs, and I largely made them due to a desire to make a gimmicky ability. The intent though was to make one that was partly a hindrance like Slow Start, Truant, or Defeatist, but still allowed the Pokemon to be usable. The second line are based on longma, which basically are dragon horses in Chinese mythology. They largely are associated with sagacity and vigor, and also can be used idiomatically to refer to an excellently fast steed. All of these aspects were incorporated here, and I love how the designs turned out too.

Evolves into Confleetah at Lv. 40
Frictah are playful but dangerous, chasing after other Pokemon for fun but igniting the underbrush with the friction from their great speed. They tire quickly, often to the point of dropping from exhaustion in the middle of a mad dash.

122. Confleetah (フリーター, Furiitaa)

Ability: Head Start (Enters battle with maximized speed, which drops by one stage each turn)
Hidden Ability: None
Egg Groups: Field
Evolves from Frictah at Lv. 40
Confleetah run at incredible speeds when hunting, not to chase their prey but rather to set the savanna ablaze from the friction, the prey getting trapped in the inferno. The sheer effort of this speed means that they can't hunt very often, and thus need to make sure each hunting trip is worth the while.

123. Busolute (ブシッカリ, Bushikkari)
Endurance Pokemon
Dragon/Flying type

Ability: Keep Pace (Speed rises by one stage with each consecutive hit on an opponent), Reactionary (Raises attack and special attack when hit by a super effective move)
Hidden Ability: Hubris (Boosts attack but lowers defense at the end of each turn)
Egg Groups: Dragon
Evolves into Linacious when leveled up with high friendship
Galloping across the sky at immense speeds, Busolute once were thought to be divine messengers and were long associated with royalty. They are noble and reliable Pokemon, stalwartly standing by their trainers through thick and thin.
