Backstory/Other: Tigershark hatched to two rather well-respected Abysswings. Her mother(Dragonfish) was the daughter of a merchant in Twilight City, and her father(Fangtooth) was a well known historian and collector from Day City. Dragonfish and her father went down to Fangtooth’s shop to invest in some materials, after hearing of the exotic things that he sold. Dragonfish was captivated by Fangtooth’s intelligence of his products, and she was impressed by his ability to get along with his father so well. Fangtooth grew affectionate of Dragonfish, after learning about her secret love of items from outside the trench. They started hitting on each other, which evolved in Dragonfish’s father approving their union and Fangtooth was allowed to sink to Twilight City along with his new family.
Tiger brought a lot of joy to her parents, being intelligent and quiet. She listened to them without any disobeyment. Her mother and father loved her dearly. However, the joy wouldn’t last. While they were visiting Tiger’s grandparents in Day City’s slums, an illness swept through, and killed Dragonfish when Tiger was 2. Dragonfish’s father blamed Fangtooth, and basically exiled and disowned Tigershark as his granddaughter. Fangtooth was force to ascend back to Day City with his daughter.
Due to her new life in Day City’s slums, Tiger ended up joining a gang of half- Turfins and other dragonets. This ended up causing Tiger to focus on street smarts over book smarts. Even after all this, she remained a quiet and reserved dragoness. As years passed, the gang she was in got more and more violent, her best friend died in a turf war with another gang, which made Tigershark realize that gang life wasn’t for her. So, at the age of 7, she left the gang business to work under her father.
She has become quite happy of her new life, she always wears her pearl bracelet that belonged to her mother. Tiger works as artist and collector for her father. She often finds random seashells on her adventure around and outside Day City, and makes random stuff out of them.
