They are both unique and innovative in terms of design and engineering.

crappy in the sense of aesthetics. however the juke is much better in terms of build quality than the pacer, which was too low of a budget and too ahead of it's time I think.

they were, and to cope, they used whatever sales gimmicks they could put out there, like the passenger side door being 4 inches longer than the drivers side (to make it easier to get out of the car), or calling it "the first wide small car"...which basically means they called it short and fat. Also, the windows were so big, it was called the fishbowl, and you wouldn't need an oven when you had a pacer and a sunny day.
Innovative, but not in a good way.
