Well, Legend of Zelda is a very famous product of Nintendo's, so it makes sense. Fire Emblem... not so much.
that's because there were no SSB games during that time. Roy was only put in to advertise his game to the Japanese people, and Ike was put in to advertise his.

Yar...I knew that Roy was an advertisement for FE6, and basically a Marth clone with a fire attatchment, but still...they could have revised that.
I don't think Ike was an advertisement though...Ah well.

Numbers mean nothing, it's about the popularity rate. Zelda is very popular and well known.
He somewhat was, his game came out just before SSBB. I really wish they had improved Roy and put him in Brawl, though.

seriously, when I first played Sacred Stones, and saw Ephraim for the first time, i was like "OMG is that Marth!?"
But now I notice some pretty big differences. For one, Ephraim wields lances. (Oh, the sexual innuendos you could make with that. XDD) And second, Ephraim wears a plateskirt. A plateskirt that is as manly as Marth's tiara. 8D

Oh man, I accidentally messed up on the guard of your sword! I'm so sorry if the guard looks bad when you get it! I'm trying to fix it but it's so hard! And... OH! I HOPE I DOESN'T LOOK TOO BAD!!!

And on the blade, there was a huge dent that I had to cover with fiberglass. So if there's a big bump on there, please don't freak! There are cracks in the side but I'll try to fill them! But it's pointy. you can poke people. XD It's a LOT pointier than mine! And hoh man, i had one of my grandpa's friends cut a glass jewel but it left big scratch marks. I just hope we can get it buffed out and shiny. I'M SORRY IF IT LOOKS HORRIBLE WHEN YOU GET IT! I'M TRYING SO HARD TO GET IT TO LOOK GOOD!
