Night-time wheat-pasting. I pasted my hand-drawn and painted life-size illustration. The boy pictured in the piece is a 10 year old Tibetan boy living in exile named Lobsang. His parents were forced to cross the Himalaya mountains in search of a better life for their son, free from oppression. My thoughts and prayers are with them and all Tibetans fighting for freedom and independence.Based on photo reference by my good friend, Jigme Ugen - himself a Tibetan in exile.

Wow. Awesome stuff Rayaan! I like the style and the medium. And its sad what is going on in Tibet. In fact there is too much oppression happening in the world at the moment. Most of it we hardly ever hear of because its hidden.... Yeah and we are supposed be living in a "socially advanced and free world".
