Description
So this is one of my newer OCs I've come up with.I wanted her to be Norse/Vikingish so that is what I went for. I hope you like it everyone. I spent a good amount of time on this.
*NOTE*
I am putting this up for download so that you can use it as your wallpaper or whatever.
BUT! I do not want you to claim it as your own or use it in any of your comics or fics if you are one of those people.

Hey there! I'll try to make this as short and sweet (well at least I'll try) as possible, just to give some advice and my two cents on the artwork. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s⦠" width="15" height="15" alt="
It definitely looks influenced from Norse mythology, so you did a very good job on using aspects from that to give it a very Viking-esque feel. The design of the armor itself is very realistically applicable. Just something that stood out to me was the fact that the armor barely stood apart from the body, depth-wise. It looks almost flat against the pony itself, so perhaps trying to make it look like a protrusion from the body (rather than melding with the silhouette of the subject) would give it more dimension.
I was a bit confused by the way you handled the lighting in this piece. The symbols on the ears/neck and the way the snow was layered is gorgeous, but there seems to be no other light source other than the symbols and the necklace. It's completely understandable if you were going for a 2D feel for this, but the fact that there is shading on the ears/head and not the hooves is just a minor issue of consistency.
Other than that, the proportions are great, I love the braid, and the simple, yet soft background really makes this piece with the gradient blues. Keep up the good work! And I hope this helps.

Yes the armor could have been better seperated with the body which I should have thought about. The shading does excist everywhere on the body just not as dark as it is on the face. I made the shading a tiny bit lighter on the rest of the body because it looked nearly black (just a artist mistake.)

Haha, but in all honesty I think they will because they don't judge its not about what you draw but how you draw it and the Host of the whole thing has Drawn Pinkie Pie himself so he would be aΒ hypocrite if he does not accept such fine works.
