I like very much the red and blue dominant colors, and the smile is really classy, a little bit badass, with the frowned eyebrows. On the other hand, me what doesn't include what you wanted to make of his left hand, I find the strange posture.
Concerning the right hand, it's funny, I thought that he made the sign of the telephone, to say "call me", and that increased his sexy potential

CRITIQUE: (i cant give you a real one since i am not premiun user)
THE GOOD: your knowledge about anatomy have no discution you go through it very easily same think with the color, your abilities are very good and you have develop a creative and tastefull style in your work, i must say i cant say there is something wrong about this picture.
the bad (?) : well i cant say it is a bad thing but for my opinion it just dont come in with the picture, i am talking about the background it seems noisy for me the letters in that kind of green over a dark color higtligh a lot, maybe that was the plan isnt it? but what about using a white color or a lighfull one? the green would still notice, also you did use a texture in the bacground that just dont fits the rest for me, again this is just my opinion and i am sure there will be people that think the picture is great, but you ask for a critique and that is what i am trying to give
TO IMPROVE: well as always i say, "there is always a way to improve in something", today the something would be "composition" what do you think is better? superman flying around from a side view ? or from the front down slightly with a hand in fore ground while he use hes hot vision? a guess the second want right? well what is your drawing would be from upside with your character pointing his finger to the viewer and the other hand in his head (doing the phe thing) and a expresfull face of joy? a im sure it would win some points.
conclusion: your work is still great and better tha a lot of people is capable of, but if you want to improve even further, it is time to look up and explore thinks yo have not do until now.
i hope you can get somethink from what i write here : )

about the background-indeed I had to use color green because Kotetsu's call strap is in that color and it glows the way like on the picture -BUT I think the feeling that it doesn't look good is caused by Kotetsu's color scheme-I gave him red overlay and I guess it wasn't good idea after all .__. when his coloristic was colder it looked better, I guess. so You have a point here XD
maybe I added one textured brush too much... because with the blue fog it wasn't that bad I think- solid black background was so boring ;3; to be honest I wanted to draw Sternbild city at night in the background but I was out of time ;3; it would've looked much better...
about improving AAAAaahhh You're absolutely right ;_; I draw pictures from such boring angles *headdesk* Q_Q I promise to draw something more interesting
