I'm not dead! Just... uninspired I guess. My desire to draw went on vacation, or on strike, or something. But I think it's coming back. Maybe?

This was a result of the Twincest Challenge #2 over at More Than Twins . The challenge said, "Draw us a picture of the twins in the midst of their birthday festivities!" So I felt a little inspired by that and decided I'd give it a shot.

And, well, what I ended up with wasn't really what I'd had in mind. The picture was originally supposed to involve a birthday cake, with Tom lighting the candles... But the twins in their stubborn, 2D forms decided they were too mature for cake at the ripe old age of 19, newly turned, and they conjured up glasses of wine for themselves instead.

...Yep, that's how it happened.

So, that's that, and I'm so happy to have drawn something again! Hopefully there won't be any more three month absences from me again anytime soon. D: And does Bill look a little tipsy to you? I wouldn't be surprised, I'm sure that's not his first glass. (And here's where I could make a joke about him being love drunk, but don't worry, I'll spare you all.)

Lastly, I take no credit for the title, because it's definitely not mine. I grabbed it from the album title of a somewhat local country band called the Eli Young Band. Thought it sounded cool and all. Plus, if you haven't noticed by now, I have almost zero creativity when it comes to titling things. So I borrowed... and I can only hope no one comes running after me brandishing copyright infringement notices in my direction. Pretty sure I'm okay though.
