Great contrast! Mysterious it is.

Stellar!
(pretend that the above was a full review that commented on everything awesome about this photo and that I did in fact have the time to write it all out).

But of course! I took the time to look but was running out of the house. I just wanted to comment to remind myself to comment really (I am not some astute person commenting for the sake of commenting - I very much believe in constructive criticism).
All that being said, I am afraid that there isn't much to comment on. Constructively, I would need to identify the aspects of this photo that I don't like and tell you how to make them better, but for the whole, I can't find anything wrong with this photo at all!
The ratios between the horizon and the border and the figure and the horizon - while not distributed as normally would be - works perfectly to draw suspicion against the photo. The darkness and finity of the figure caused me great interest and attention to the very details of this photo.
The contrast and lighting are superb. The concept is amazing and intriguing. The angle and framing are dead on.
You have earned a fave, a watch and a devotee. Great work here.

Liked the starkness of the original (/first upload) more. Just throwing my vote in there.

The higher contrast adds an element of mystery to it. Starkness is pertaining to the root meaning any and all of: severe, fierce, strong, powerful, stark. I'm a little inarticulate now, so if that doesn't serve you its purpose of explaining/defining, feel free to continue to prod.

Oh I was thinking you ment that. Well I added more texture to the body... But I still kept in mind that I wanted a high contrast, so with the edited version I still have a body that is as black as on the other version, there are just some details coming out now. I don't think I lost any contrast. Or maybe you mean you liked that there is just a total black shape in the photo?

Yes, I totally agree with your opinion... The reason I changed it is because my teacher said it would look better. But I like it more when, like you say, it is an entire black shape. Thank you for your opinion, I like people that open their mouth and tell me about details they like or don't like.
I'm thinking about changing it, maybe not this one but the other one ([link] ) had a lot of change when adding more detail to the sheet/body.

Well if it is for school work: do what the teacher will like most. As for your piece as an extracurricular piece, I like it better as I have explained.
Maybe you should interrogate others before you choose, but certainly choose what you like best.
