Thick Strawberry Shake1/2 cup of fresh strawberries (or frozen unsweetened)1/2 cup of skim milk (regular works too)3 packets of equal (or just the equivalent of that in sugar)1 teaspoon lemon juiceCombine all ingredients in blender. Blend at high speed until smooth, about 1 minute. Serve immediately. *If using fresh berries, add 3 ice cubes to make thicker shake. Makes approximately one 12-ounce serving.calories per serving: 79"Traditional" calories: 464Diabetic exchange: 1 fruit, 1/2 nonfat milkSo far all Ive done it with is strawberries and peaches. With the peach shake we figured out it might be better to use a little more then 1/2 cup of peaches. Bananas will probably work really well too. Also I believe a combination of peaches and bananas, and strawberries and bananas will work well. If I could get my hands on some passion fruit I would try it too!Have fun making one! I hope you like it. P.S. Liquor might go well with this
