Normally these days, I'm wary about new movies.

But compared to all these other Pinocchio movies that are coming out this year, I have the most faith in this one.

Directed by Guillermo del Toro, done in stop-motion animation and most likely going to take place in a dark and edgy setting (Facist Spain), all signs just point to yes. (Knock on wood)

This art piece is kind of like my prayer for the movie to turn out good.

Commentary: I was originally going to simply make the background black, but I decided to make it dark brown and grainy with wood whorls.
