The face is a little unrealistic but you are a marvel at fabric recreation.

wow, thats crazy, I feel bad for thinking the picture scary at first (because of the face) but it is really amazing the detail in the body and clothing, on an IPAD?!

Some of it, yes. I do use a homemade stylus for things like lineart and small details, but I do a lot of the actual painting (especially skin) with my fingers. It's too easy to drop a stylus and spend the next 20 minutes searching for it when you're all snuggled up in a giant comforter :3

XD Heaven knows we've all done that before.
Keep up the good work!
Tip: if you dont wanna buy an actual stylus, but want a better one, buy just the pen nibs and stick them in broken pencils or something. xD

I worked on it sporadically for four days (which is why the top and bottom parts of the dress are different shades of pink :c) so about 8 hours D: It probably should've taken me half as long, but I redrew the dress a bunch of times. Thanks so much for the fave!

Actually, I didn't. I've actually only been drawing for a few months now, so I haven't invested in Photoshop yet. I did this on an iPad painting app called Procreate that I bought a while ago for 1.99 before I sat down and got serious about drawing It doesn't have anywhere near the long list of functions that Photoshop does (no image editing, no contrast changing make-it-look-freaking-amazing-filters, only one useful blending mode, etc.), but then again all I actually use are the hard brush, eraser, smudging tool, and layers. Considering what I can do with it and the price, I like to consider it the deal of the century
Besides, I wouldn't have any clue what to do with Photoshop. I tried the trial and got nowhere :I Waaay too many buttons. And I don't even have a drawing tablet..
