I nearly thought that was Bernie from Death Vigil for a moment!

There's a scary thought for Ana. Don't rightly know what Bernie would do to one of the living dead, even if Ana is benign.

Truth is stranger than fiction. And Elly's hyper-active imagination can get pretty strange.

There are a few ways for me to do that. Some of them would be... different than what you might want.

I would be more worried of what Sigeel wants than me XD I mean, I could be all down for it, but she is not my character...

lol you shouldn't be worried about what i want XDD i tell my own story and i write what i want by doing just that.Β and if someone wants to make a spin off picture that is completely fine by me XD its their own imagination they wanted to put on paper, and if my character is in it i feel more than honored to be included in it. to me that means that i wrote a good character and is the highest praise i can get^^

Even if Elly's throat got ripped out? Not that I would do that, I like Elly too much. But Ana's face in the middle panel is a hint of how much she can transform (Despite being Elly's imagination, it's pretty damn close to reality). With chompers like those, the damage could be great.
That being an extreme example, of course. It could wind up looking something that belongs in Sunstone if I went the other way. Of course, there is always the middle ground.

lol that is a little extreme, yeah.
but what i meant to say is that i cant control what people do with my characters (nor should i). hell if a person drew her tied up on ally bed, i cat really go and point-- that is incredibly inaccurate! delete it NOW XDΒ
in the end the only canon version of elly is the one i write. everything else is fanart and fanfiction. and either way i enjoy seeing those^^
same is with your character, if i drew your character in a pink fluffy dress it does not make it cannon, your character is a vampire and is canon the way you originally imaginedΒ and planned it.
if she cant stand the sight of elly or gets her bloodlust and rips her throat it still shouldn't bother me (tho it would disturb me a bit, i wont lie XD), because while in your universe that might happen, in my universe that never happens.
i agree on the middle ground tho. sometimes its better to take a step back and instead of an initial instinct to take a deep breath and think if the character might grow better if they tried something different from what was originally planned.
i actually used a lot of that in my comic.
imagine if elly was constantly scared of everything XD that would get boring really fast and would lose its credibility and instead make her look just like an anime character instead of a real person, so on the contrary i decided she will try and adapt, no matter how hard things might get at times.

Actually, Ana would look surprisingly fetching in a pink dress. Β She might even consider it a fun to relive her human days as a member of the Russian aristocracy before THE THING happened. And she would never go bloodthirsty like an animal, let alone to Elly. She's more of a... demonitarian.
Good advice. I've got a basic plot written out, so I have an idea on how to present things when I feel comfortable with making a webcomic. But as I've discovered making this comic and the one I'm working on at the moment, I write dialogue much better when I'm putting it together with a picture. It does wind up different than what I had in my head.
Ana's brother Lex is going through such a character arc in the design stages. He's a recluse and stay away from human civilization because they keep treating him like a child since he was turned when he was 14. But because of REASONS, he starts to grow and realize he's still being a bit of a child himself.

Draw Ana in pink dress. Draw her in a green dress. Any dress. She'd treat it like she's a fashion model. She's over 110 years old but with the body of a 19 year old. She loves being able to flaunt it every once in awhile. That's why she stays active in cities. She can wear anything and blend in anywhere. The fact that she can speak any language with any accent helps with it too.
I know the feeling. When I started planning everything years ago, I was going off the rush from the Lord of the Rings and Matrix trilogies being fresh in pop culture. Now it's this epic that spans millennia and I have to keep it balanced. Some parts got cut and some were changed to make it work. Now that I have an idea on how to present it, I have to practice making comics before I even start to actually write it.
I wrote the Lex thing because of something weird. When I first came up with the basics for his character in college, the first question anybody asked was "How does he have sex?". I was... taken aback to say the least. Lex may be about 105 years old in mentality, but he still has the body of a 14 year old. I was, and still am, uncomfortable writing a romance for him. So I made him celibate because of it.Β
This further fleshed out his character in the end. Most humans see him as a child and treat him as such, which infuriates him. On the other hand, there are those who want to treat him like "an adult" and he is creeped out by THAT. Word of advice, don't try to molest the century old "werewolf". You'd get the same result by trying to get fresh with a badger.
If you want to know why Ana is a "vampire" and Lex is a "werewolf", that's something I'd rather discuss in a message or over Skype. Not comfortable just putting it out there.
