No they don't at least not in a normal year. I hung up my skates decades ago. My ankles can't take it and I never was much good in any case.
From what I've seen on webcam shots it stays fairly green in the valleys and snows on the tops but we'll find out in Feb.

Nice shot, good composition and colour. The leaf looks very slightly out of focus to me (the focus appears to be on the leaves juuust behind it). That happens to me all the time. It's a nuisance. XD

Beautiful colour,some of the chestnut trees here are beginning to change colour. The oak outside my window is still green. I like to bring some of the lovely coloured leaves and arrange in a basket for a bit of colour in the winter. The large turkey oak leaves are rather spectacular like the maple.

Some men just don't get it. My husband is very appreciative of small touches. He even praises my sorry attempts.

I agree some men don't get it. Occasionally I dip in and our of the book 'Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus', quite true what the guy says. My son has borrowed the book to try and understand a new girl friend!! My husband does occasionally cook and he does do housework but he is retired now and I still work so it's much appreciated.
